PRAISE POWER!

Your mouth has both preventive and permissive power. Your mouth is the gateway into your life. Your mouth is also the saviour of your life.  The power in your mouth can be released for your good through praise. Your praise represents open gates for good to come into your life. Your praise also erects a wall of salvation round about your life.  Murmuring and complaining, on the other hand, breaks down the walls and permits the enemy to invade a your from all sides. Even when it is not convenient, praise and give thanks to God. It will arrest the enemy. And as you continue to praise God, watch out! good is coming into your life. Keep praising the LORD. Don't stop the discipline. IT IS WRITTEN! "I will bless the LORD at ALL TIMES: HIS PRAISE shall CONTINUALLY be in MY MOUTH." (Psalms 34:1). "By him therefore let us offer the SACRIFICE OF PRAISE to God  CONTINUALLY, that is, the fruit of OUR LIPS GIVING THANKS to his name." (Hebrews 13:15). "Therefore YOUR GATE...

THE FEAR FREE LIFE!

he word of God says, "FEAR NOT: for I have REDEEMED you, I have called you by your name; you are mine." (Isaiah 43:1). "Have you been redeemed?" "Do you know that you belong to God?" Then you don't need to fear! Fear is an unredeemed response to trouble. But at the root of that manifestation is a spirit of fear. God has also assured the redeemed that he doesn't have the spirit of fear. "For God has not given us the SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7). Faith, on the other hand, is the redeemed response to trouble. At the root of that manifestation is a spirit of faith.  "We having the same SPIRIT OF FAITH, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak" (1 Corinthians 4:13). You can see that faith believes and speaks. So Fear or faith is not just a matter of identity; it is also a matter of knowledge. They both can be seen or h...

How to process and receive your DESIRES!

You can process and receive your desires from God. You can enjoy reedom from the spirit of Lust which is in the world. Every good thing in life has been freely given to us through God's exceeding great and precious promises. We are to receive them through knowledge. "According as his divine power hath given unto us ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN UNTO LIFE AND GODLINESS, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are GIVEN UNTO US EXCEEDING GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having ESCAPED the corruption that is in the world through LUST." (2 Peter 1:3-4). There is a corruption in the world brought about by the spirit of lust. To escape that corruption, God has given to us exceeding great and precious promises. Every of our desire to have good things must be processed through the promises of God. We must present the promise(s) for our desire. Otherwise our desires will be corrupted by the spir...

You were CREATED TO BE FREE!

You are a spirit. God created you to be free; to live and dwell in His love. Few people are really free. All they have is religion. The love of God is the spiritual habitat of a truly free man.  To live and dwell in the love of God we need an understanding of the two realms of the spirit. The realm of darkness and the realm of light; and how to cross over from darkness to light and live in freedom.  THE TWO REALMS OF THE SPIRIT . . . darkness and light.     ___________________ The spirit realm controls life on earth. Therefore it is important for us to understand the forces of the spirit . We get the first glimpse of the activity of the spirit realm in Genesis 1:3-4. "And THE EARTH was without form, and void; and DARKNESS was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be LIGHT: and there was light. And God saw THE LIGHT, that it was GOOD: and God divided THE LIGHT from THE DARKNESS." We see DARKNESS; an...

YOU SHALL NEVER BE ASHAMED!

If you believe in Christ God has promised that you shall NEVER be ashamed. "Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him SHALL NOT BE CONFOUNDED." (1 Peter 2:6). You shall not be confounded(i) means, "He that believes on Him shall not . . . . . . be shamed down. . . . be disgraced. . . . be put to the blush. . . . be dishonoured. . . . be ashamed. . . . be made ashamed. . . . blush with shame. If you believe in Christ, you are now in Christ and you belong to the nation of peculiar people. You are God's people. You are a child of God. You have obtained mercy. You shall never be ashamed. "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, A PECULIAR PEOPLE; that you should SHEW FORTH THE PRAISES OF HIM who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, BUT ARE NOW THE PEOPLE OF GOD: which had not obtained ...

THE RANSOM

To SUBSTITUTE is to take the place of another: A REPLACEMENT. A RANSOM is the price given for the release of a captive. THE RANSOM becomes a SUBSTITUTE for the captive. That explains what God did for us in Christ Jesus. "He that SPARED NOT HIS OWN SON, but delivered him up FOR US ALL, how shall he not with him also FREELY GIVE US ALL THINGS?" (Romans 8:32). Jesus was given by God as our ransom or substitute in death for us to have righteousness and experience all good things of life. God willingly delivered Him to death for our sin as our substitute and ransom. Jesus also yielded up Himself willingly. "For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and TO GIVE HIS LIFE A RANSOM for many." (Mark 10:45). "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; WHO GAVE HIMSELF A RANSOM for all, to be testified in due time." (1 Timothy 2:5-6). For this cause it is written; "He was OPPRESSED, and he was ...

THE FOUNDATION OF LEADERSHIP

Leadership is by mercy. "So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.  For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.” Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens." (Romans 9:16-18). Leadership is by the mercy of God. A leader that understands that will serve with the fear of God. He will be kind to those he is called to serve. When a leader fails to understand this, God removes His mercy from him as He did to Saul. Speaking about David, God said; "But MY MERCY shall not DEPART AWAY from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before you." (2 Samuel 7:15). Once God takes away His mercy, He also takes away the mantle of authority for leadership. The leader becomes an empty shell waiting to be crushed. "Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his b...

A LEADERSHIP TRAGEDY

One of the greatest tragedy in life is for a leader not to understand that it is God that gave him power; that power was only delegated to him by God. That was the tragedy of Pharaoh.  "And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness. And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go." (Exodus 5:1-2). Is that not a strange thing? Pharaoh didn't know the LORD. Yet it was the LORD who set him up. Hear what the LORD said to Pharaoh. "And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me. . . And in very deed for this cause have I raised you up, for to show in you my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth. As yet exaltest yo...

LIGHT FOR LEADERSHIP

POWER BELONGS TO GOD! The most important understanding every leader in any capacity should have is that power belongs to God. A leader is only a steward of the power of God. He is given power for service. He is a minister of God for the good of the people and against evil(i). A leader who does not understand this will not only be a great oppressor, he is also heading for a great destruction; because he will lack the mercy of God. This is perhaps the revelation that made David one of the greatest leaders that ever lived. That was why he was prone to do kindness. It was David who wrote these words; "God has spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongs unto God. Also unto you, O Lord, belongs mercy: for you render to every man according to his work." (Psalms 62:11-12).   _________________ (i) Romans 13:1-4 "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. . . For he is the minister of God...
