LET GOD DO A NEW THING

" But now thus says the LORD that created you, _____, and he that formed you, _____, Fear not: for I HAVE REDEEMED YOU, I have called you by your name; YOU ARE MINE ." (Isaiah 43:1). When God says, "You are mine", it means that you belong to Him. You are to serve His interest. So if you are in Christ, God has called you by your name. This is what He is saying to you.  "________ ( put your name there ), I have redeemed you. You are mine. And because you are mine, for as long as you are mine, all things, all circumstances, are yours. They will also serve your interest. Fear not." I know that you are thinking, " Where did He say so?" Here it is. " Therefore let no man glory in men. FOR ALL THINGS ARE YOURS ; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or THINGS PRESENT , or THINGS TO COME ; ALL ARE YOURS ; AND YOU ARE CHRIST'S ; and Christ is God's ." (1 Corinthians 3:21-23, emphasis added). LET GO OF THE...

The PROMISE of LONG LIFE

" For ALL THE PROMISES of God IN HIM are yes, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. "  (2 Corinthians 1:20). Let's examine one promise of God for us in Christ Jesus . " With long life will I SATISFY him, and shew him my salvation ." (Psalms 91:16). To SATISFY is " to meet the expectations, needs, or desires of someone for something." God has promised in Christ to meet your expectation, need or desire for a long life. You can desire and expect a long life. It is not the supplier of a product that determines when you are satisfied. It is always the consumer of the product who determines when he or she is satisfied. It is also the responsibility of the consumer to know what quantity of the product is available to him. THE SUPPLY OF LIFE God made clear the length of life available when He said, " My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be AN HUNDRED AND TWENTY YEARS ." (Genesis 6:3). He...

SALVATION

The word salvation covers the entire scope of deliverance. There are two broad categories of salvation.  1. God saves spiritually.  2. God saves temporally.   Being saved spiritually is what gives a man the identity of righteousness * . He becomes the redeemed of the Lord. The person who is spiritually saved is the righteousness of God. Righteousness gives you the right to temporal salvation. Temporal salvation is the deliverance of the righteous from trouble in this world. Moses was speaking about temporal salvation when Israel was hopelessly in trouble before the Red sea. They were already redeemed from Egypt and on their way to the Promised Land. " Fear not, stand still, and SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD , which he will show to you today… " (Exodus 14:13). Temporal salvation is a promise of God to His people. "But the SALVATION OF THE RIGHTEOUS is of the LORD: He is their strength in the time of trouble." (Psalms 37:39). Just as we use our faith to be made righte...

GOD WILL HELP YOU

There is a difference between "I will never LEAVE you" and "I will never FORSAKE you." To leave you is to stop upholding you; to let go of you and let you sink. While to forsake is to abandon.  Someone can forsake you when your burden becomes too heavy for him to bear. He can forsake you when you become a source of shame and embarrassment to him. He can forsake you when you become a source of pain to him. He can forsake you when being with you becomes dangerous. But God will Never leave you nor forsake you. He is only waiting for your cry for mercy and help to intervene for your good. It is only when you understand that God has not forsaken you that you can boldly call for His help. "So that we may BOLDLY say, THE LORD IS MY HELPER, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me." (Hebrews 13:6). IT'S A COVENANT THING This is not just about you. It is because of what Christ has done for you. It is because you are in Christ. He took your place in all cur...

FREEDOM AND PROSPERITY

"A nd the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus says the LORD, Let my people go, THAT THEY MAY SERVE ME ." (Exodus 8:1). If you are not willing and ready to serve God you are not ready to be free. You will not be able to keep your freedom.  To reenforces the truth that the purpose of freedom is serving God; we are further told why God brought out Israel from Egypt.  " That they might observe His statutes, and keep His laws. Praise you the LORD ." (Psalms 105:45).  HOW TO MEASURE FREEDOM Freedom is not just about DELIVERANCE and TRANSLATION. Whether from Egypt to the promised Land. Or from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of God. There is more to freedom. In this life freedom is measured by the quality of life we live after deliverance. It is measured by the level of substance we bring into the service of the Lord.  " He brought them forth also with SILVER and GOLD : and there was NOT ONE FEEBLE PERSON among their tribes. And He ...

VALUE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

R ighteousness is a precious gift from God to us. Without it we have no access to God and we have no hope of answered prayer. Righteousness is what makes God your Father. It is the righteous that God partners with to change things on the earth. The power of God flows through the prayer of the righteous. In fact God is watching and waiting on the prayer of the righteous for Him to intervene in the earthly matters. God is waiting to hear the righteous say, " Father, let your kingdom come; let your will be done on earth concerning this situation ." He is waiting to hear the righteous enforce His will on earth through fervent and heartfelt prayers.  " For the eyes of the Lord are over the RIGHTEOUS , and his ears are open unto THEIR PRAYERS : but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil ." (1 Peter 3:12). " Confess your faults one to another, and PRAY one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent PRAYER of a RIGHTEOUS MAN avails much. El...
