LET GOD DO A NEW THING

"But now thus says the LORD that created you, _____, and he that formed you, _____, Fear not: for I HAVE REDEEMED YOU, I have called you by your name; YOU ARE MINE." (Isaiah 43:1).


When God says, "You are mine", it means that you belong to Him. You are to serve His interest. So if you are in Christ, God has called you by your name. This is what He is saying to you. 


"________ (put your name there), I have redeemed you. You are mine. And because you are mine, for as long as you are mine, all things, all circumstances, are yours. They will also serve your interest. Fear not."


I know that you are thinking, "Where did He say so?" Here it is.


"Therefore let no man glory in men. FOR ALL THINGS ARE YOURS;


Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or THINGS PRESENT, or THINGS TO COME; ALL ARE YOURS;


AND YOU ARE CHRIST'S; and Christ is God's." (1 Corinthians 3:21-23, emphasis added).


LET GO OF THE PAST


But you will notice that among the things that belong to you, the things that are to serve your interest, are THINGS PRESENT and THINGS TO COME. That means that both THINGS IN THE NOW and THINGS IN THE FUTURE belong to you. They will serve your interest.


There is wisdom in this scripture to help us. THE PAST, YESTERDAY, is not on the list of things that belong to you in Christ. Holding on to the past is holding on to what does not belong to you. It may not help you. In fact it can hurt you. Christ has redeemed you from the sins, mistakes, pains and regrets of your past. In Christ Jesus you have no past. You only have A NOW and A FUTURE. The day this dawn's on you is the day you actually start living as a new creature.


"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY; behold, ALL THINGS ARE BECOME NEW." (2 Corinthians 5:17).


WHO ARE YOU NOW?


You are more than conqueror in christ. We need to emphasize the truth that your past is gone. Your yesterday is gone. It's what you are doing today that can impact your future. And whatever is going on today around you, God wants you to understand that because of His love for you and His anointing, you are more than conqueror.


"Nay, IN ALL THESE THINGS we are more than conquerors through HIM THAT LOVED US.


For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor THINGS PRESENT, nor THINGS TO COME,


Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD, which is IN CHRIST Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:37-39).


WHAT CAN SEPARATE YOU FROM THE LOVE AND POWER OF GOD?


You will notice that the past is not also mentioned here among the things that CANNOT separate you from the love of God. What does that mean? Even though your past has no power to separate you from the saving love of God; if you dwell on the past, which doesn't belong to you, you are separating yourself from the love and anointing of Christ. God commands you to let go of the past.


GOD WANTS TO DO A NEW THING.


"Remember you not the FORMER THINGS, neither consider the THINGS OF OLD.


Behold, I WILL DO A NEW THING; NOW it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." (Isaiah 43:18-19).


If you dwell in the past you won't allow Him to do the miracle He has for you today. You will not see the way He is making for you. You cannot see the way forward when you are looking backward.


THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL LEAD YOU FORWARD


Choose to make the best of NOW, TODAY. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you the THINGS TO COME (the future as it pertains to you). That is one of His assignments in your life.


"Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and HE WILL SHEW YOU THINGS TO COME." (John 16:13).


TODAY will work for your good.

Depend on the Holy Spirit TODAY to help you prepare for TOMORROW. It begins with the words of your mouth today.


Once you understand this, everyday becomes your day of salvation. You will believe that there is always a way for you.


It is written, "I have heard you in a time accepted, and in the DAY of salvation have I succoured you: behold, NOW is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of salvation.)" (2 Corinthians 6:2).


ACTION WORD

The anchor of this blessing is to know that you belong to Christ. You are His property. You live to serve His interest. That's the key that unlocks everything that belongs to you.


DECLARATIONS


1. I have been redeemed.

2. I will not fear.

3. I belong to Christ.

4. Now is my approved time. 

5. Today is my day! 

6. Today is my day of salvation. 

7. Today is my day of grace.

8. Today is my day of favor. 

9. Today is my day of mercy.

10. Today is my day of help. 

11. Today everything is working for my good. 

12. Good things are coming my way. 

13. Blessing is coming my way. 

14. Prosperity is coming my way. 

15. My tomorrow, my future, is full of peace.

16. My future is bright. 

17. I am going forward.


My faith is in Christ and His anointing. Everything is now working for my good. Everything in this nation is working for my good. The Lord is helping me now!
