(Hebrews 11:13, emphasis added). This marvelous section of the scriptures helps us to understand the truth about a person in faith. 1 . A person in faith has A PROMISE from God the heavenly Father. 2 . A person in faith has a vision. He or she SEES the reality of the promise of the heavenly Father afar off.   3 . A person in faith is PERSUADED about the fulfillment of the vision from heaven. 4 . A person in faith EMBRACES the responsibility of the fulfillment of the vision. 5 . A person in faith CONFESSES that he or she is a STRANGER and PILGRIM on earth. In other words a person of faith is a peculiar person. He doesn't live like others. His life is driven by the vision of the promise from the heavenly Father. Faith is not always about immediate results. ...

  THE COVENANT OF DIVINE PEACE As a result of what Jesus Christ has done for us in His death on the Cross and resurrection God swore an oath. " For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for AS I HAVE SWORN that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; SO HAVE I SWORN that I would not be wroth with you, nor rebuke you . "Therefore I say unto you, What THINGS soever YOU DESIRE , when YOU PRAY, BELIEVE that YOU RECEIVE them, and YOU SHALL HAVE THEM ." (Mark 11:24). 1. FIND THE WORD. (2 Peter 1:3-4). What THINGS soever you desire can be found in the promise of God. The promise is either pointing to A THING that pertains TO LIFE or to A THING that pertains to GODLINESS. In other words there is a word of God for what you desire. God and His word are one. If you can find His promise you can have faith in God (Mark 11:22). It is the will of God for you to have what He promised. 2 . DESIRE IT. Desire the thing promised by God . Desire is a hunger of the heart. What you desire has become a necessity. For example, air is a necessity. You have a natural desire for air. Therefore you have to breathe. If  you don't breathe you will die. KNOWLEDGE OF THE HOLY "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of THE HOLY is understanding." (Proverbs 9:10). Holy means separated, sacred, hallowed, consecrated or dedicated.  God is the thrice holy God. Apart from God, the word holy can also be used to qualify a person, place or thing. When used in relationship with God, it means the person, place or thing has been separated to God. For the purpose of this article we are looking at holiness in connection with the presence and power of God. Any thing that must carry or transmit the power of God must be holy.
