YOUR HEALING IS IN GOD'S RECORD

As I was taking my bath in the morning of October 3rd 2019, this question came to my heart; "Who are those documented in the scriptures as healed by Jesus Christ?" I began to check. What I found blessed me greatly. It is a cause of rejoicing for anyone out there, especially believers in Christ, who may be sick.

THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR HEALING

First let's take a sampling of people documented in the bible as healed by christ.

"When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and HEALED ALL who were ill" - Matthew 8:16.

"...Many followed Him, and He HEALED THEM ALL" - Matthew 12:15.

"...He saw a large crowd, and felt compassion for them and HEALED THEIR SICK" - Matthew 14:14.

"And large crowds came to Him, bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, mute, and many others, and they laid them down at His feet; and He HEALED THEM" - Matthew 15:30.

"And the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He HEALED THEM" - Matthew 21:14.

"...and large crowds followed Him, and He HEALED THEM there" - Matthew 19:2.

"The news about Him spread throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics; and He HEALED THEM ALL" - Matthew 4:24.

"And HE HEALED MANY who were ill with various diseases..." - Mark 1:34.

GOOD NEWS

The healing of the believer was also expressly recorded! Your healing has also been recorded as accomplished [finished] by Christ. 

THIS IS HOW IT WAS RECORDED: 

"Christ Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds YOU WERE HEALED" - 1 Pet 2: 24.

When Jesus took stripes on His back; by it He HEALED US just as He healed every recorded case in the Gospel. In the sight of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit you have been healed. It is finished. It is done. In 1 Peter 2:24 it is written of those who believe in Christ. It was first recorded in Isaiah 53:5 for those who will believe: 

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes WE ARE HEALED." 

As we believe in the report our individual healing becomes a finished matter. Your healing has been accomplished. If you are not enjoying it one or more of the following factors could be responsible.

1. IGNORANCE: Ignorance should no longer be the case now that you are reading this. You have found out that you are healed. Receive it and enjoy it. "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free...If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (John 8:31, 32, 36).

2. UNBELIEF: The next major thing that can stop you from enjoying your healing after making the discovery is unbelief. The word says; "Who has believed our report [or record]? To whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?" (Isaiah 53:1). Only those who believe the record will experience the reality in their lives.

3. BEING A MOCKER: This is very important. Jesus has provided salvation for your sin and healing for your body. Don't mock that truth if you want to experience it. "Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;

Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you." (Acts 13:38-41).

4. FAILURE TO FIGHT FOR YOUR HEALTH BY FAITH.

YOU ARE HEALED; SATAN IS TRYING TO STEAL YOUR HEALTH. YOU NEED TO RESIST HIM! The record of the Bible is stronger and superior to any other report or document. If God says you are healed that is the truth. The other report must be a lie. If you believe God it will show by your fighting the lie. God did not only give you eternal life through Christ; He also healed you.

"If we receive the witness [record] of men, the witness [record] of God is greater: for this is the witness [record] of God which he hath testified of his Son. 

He that believes on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believes not God hath made him a liar; because he believes not the record that God gave of his Son.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. (1 John 5:9-11).

5. FAILURE TO DIE TO SIN: You can see that in the record of your healing in 1 Pet 2:24. Many believers are still living in sin and it is preventing the healing power of God from manifesting in their body. However there is a solution according to James 5:14-16.

 "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

TAKE NOTE OF THE PART WHICH SAYS; "...if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that YE MAY BE HEALED." 

Many are suffering and even dying needlessly from sickness because they refuse to acknowledge and confess their sins. Wives need to confess to their husbands. Husbands need to confess to their wives. Church members need to confess to their Pastors. They should pray for each other from the heart. Sin will not allow the healing that Christ has already recorded in your name to manifest in your body. Reject sin. Choose your healing. Let the Lord [Holy Spirit] raise you up by quickening your body. 

"And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you" (Romans 8:10-11).

6. FAILURE TO FULFILL THE LAW OF RIGHTEOUSNESS: Living beneath the standard of righteousness can hinder healing from manifesting for us. You see, the believer in Christ is a new creature, the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:17, 21). This new creature is to live by faith. And that faith works by love (Galatians 3:11; 5:6). You can define the new creature as the righteous man or woman in Christ, who lives by faith and walks in love. (Compare Galatians 5:6 with Galatians 6:15). Both scriptures are saying the same thing with the latter substituting FAITH WHICH WORKETH BY LOVE with NEW CREATURE.

"For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision AVAILS any thing, nor uncircumcision; BUT FAITH WHICH WORKS BY LOVE."

"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision AVAILS any thing, nor uncircumcision, BUT A NEW CREATURE."

Practically speaking, to be a new creature in Christ is to believe in Christ and put your faith to fruitful work by walking in love. And that is how to live unto righteousness. What has all this got to do with the manifestation of your healing, you may ask. Simple. To enjoy your healing you have to forgive those who hurt you. Unforgiveness is an enemy of your healing. If you hold on to unforgiveness you forfeit your right to enjoy your healing. You will malfunction so to speak. It is not consistent with your environment in Christ, which is love. It is a kingdom of love. "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, FORGIVING one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you" (Ephesians 4:32). You must forgive if you desire healing to manifest for you. 

"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

And when ye stand praying, FORGIVE, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

But if ye do not FORGIVE, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses." (Mark 11:24-26). 

If you forfeit your forgiveness you also forfeit your healing. They are two sides of the same coin. Unforgiveness is too expensive. Rather pray for those who hurt you and let go.

WHAT YOU CAN DO!

Child of God you desire to experience healing and health; but you are faced with symptoms of sickness. Keep the above requirements. You can then speak to the symptoms by faith.

"I am a new creature in Christ Jesus. I live and walk by faith. I do not walk by sight or my feeling. And I am walking in love. My faith works. I declare that I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. Christ Himself bore my sicknesses and took my pain. Sickness cannot survive in my body. The Holy Ghost is in me. He quickens my mortal body right now in the name of Jesus. Amen!"

Don't say it once. Keep saying it. You are not Christ. You are in Christ. He is the head; you are the body. You are drawing your power from the head. The head is not sick; you are not sick in Him.  The more you say it the more power flows until the job is accomplished on earth.

You don't have to wait to be sick before you say it. Make it part of your confession.

GOD, THROUGH CHRIST, HAS DONE ALL HE NEEDS TO DO TO HEAL YOU. AS FAR AS HE IS CONCERNED THE  DECIDING AUTHORITY ON EARTH NOW RESTS WITH YOUR TONGUE.

• It doesn't rest with God!

• It doesn't rest with the devil!

• It doesn't rest with the prayer you made to God; or made for you to God!

• It rests with the words you say and continue to say after you have prayed.

• It rests with your continuous praise and thanksgiving.
