THE PRECIOUS LIFE

" Since you were PRECIOUS in My sight, You have been honored, and I have loved you; therefore I will give men for you, and people for your life ." [Isaiah 43:4].  This is one promise of God that is absolutely far reaching. What does God mean when he says that you are precious in his sight? Among other blessings it means that YOU SHALL NOT DIE CHEAPLY. Compare the following scriptures. " And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, BE PRECIOUS IN THY SIGHT. Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now BE PRECIOUS IN THY SIGHT "—2 Kings 1:13-14. • He shall REDEEM their soul from deceit and violence: and PRECIOUS shall their blood be IN HIS SIGHT —Psalm 72:...

MY REDEEMER

My Redeemer! That is one of the most powerful names you can call God. It leaves the devil confused and completely disarmed. For when God decides to put on His robe of redemption, He does not ignore your sins. Instead He takes responsibility for them in order for divine justice to be satisfied. Indeed God is love! What you have to do in response is to sincerely acknowledge and repent of your sins and cry out to Him for forgiveness.  This is why God carefully introduced Himself to Moses*. God did not send an angel. He did not send a prophet. God introduced Himself by Himself. This is so important that we have to break it down.  1. I am Merciful. 2. I am gracious.  3. I am longsuffering. 4. I am abundant in goodness and truth. 5. I keep mercy for thousands. 6. I forgive iniquity and transgression and sin. 7. I will by no means clear the guilty. 8. I will visit the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth ge...

WORSHIP WITHOUT FEAR

Beginning from the fall of Adam in the garden of Eden man received the spirit of fear. The first evidence of this spirit of fear is that it would rather flee to hide from God's presence(1). It is a guilty spirit, condemned by sin. However since then man has sought many ways to worship God. But the problem is you cannot truly worship or serve God in bondage. Fear is a spirit of bondage.  Jesus came to deliver us from bondage to fear. " That he would grant unto us, that we being DELIVERED out of the hand of our enemies might SERVE HIM WITHOUT FEAR , in holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life ." (Luke 1:74-75). Jesus came to make us true worshippers of God. This truth can impact every aspect of our lives.  " GOD IS A SPIRIT: and they that WORSHIP him must WORSHIP him in SPIRIT and in truth ." (John 4:24). This was Jesus Himself speaking. Apostle Paul later gave us helpful insight on this subject. " But he that is joined unto the Lord ...
