It doesn't take special insight to know that life is not going to get easier. It is always going to come with challenges. What we need is strength to match the challenges of the time and triumph over them. “ Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not LIE unto DAVID . ” (Psalms 89:35). This promise of God to DAVID struck me in an unusual way during my study because the Spirit of God connected it with the meaning of DAVID .  THE NAME DAVID   In Hebrew DAVID means BELOVED. It also means FAVOURITE . A name is not just an identity tag. It is also a prophetic tag because it speaks about the destiny of the bearer. T his verse clearly says that believers in Christ, the children of God are King-Priests. In other words their kingship has its roots in spiritual works. The emphasis of the spiritual work in this verse is on praise!  A life of faith is a life of praise. O, praise is so important to the blessed life!
