Does He That Lives Live in You?
"I AM HE THAT LIVES..."
When Jesus appeared to John in His resurrected and glorified form, He spoke some of the most profound words ever recorded:
"I AM HE THAT LIVES, and WAS DEAD; and, behold, I AM ALIVE for evermore, Amen; and have the KEYS OF HELL and OF DEATH." (Revelation 1:18)
This statement is more than just a declaration of resurrection—it is a definitive claim to absolute life. Jesus is saying:
📌 "I alone am the source of life. Apart from Me, everything is spiritually dead. If anything must have eternal life, I must live in it."
Christ: The Life That Fills All Things
Jesus does not merely exist—He fills all things with life.
📖 Ephesians 1:23 – The Church is His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all.
📖 Ephesians 4:10 – He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.
📖 John 1:4 – In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
Nothing truly lives apart from Him. This is why only those who have Christ have life:
"He that has the Son has life, and he that has not the Son of God has not life." (1 John 5:12)
The world defines life merely as existence, but the Bible defines life as union with Christ. Without Him, people may exist, but they are spiritually dead (Ephesians 2:1).
The Most Important Question: Does He That Lives Live in You?
Eternal life is not just about living forever—it is having Christ Himself living in you. It is His indwelling presence that gives true, abundant, and everlasting life.

💡 Is Christ truly alive in you, guiding, empowering, and filling you?
If not, He invites you today:
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in..." (Revelation 3:20)
