PARABLE OF LIFE ON EARTH
Have you ever asked yourself: "What is the primary responsibility of humanity on earth?"
When we reflect deeply on Jeremiah 29:4–14 with eternity in mind, one answer becomes clear:
The ultimate purpose of life on earth is to seek and find God.
We are here to journey back to Him. Without finding Him, everything else becomes meaningless, a wasted lifetime. For there is no peace in a future without Him, only despair.
A PARABLE IN SCRIPTURE
Our time on earth is limited. Like Judah in captivity in Babylon, our lives on earth can be seen as a parable.
God’s promise of heaven is for everyone, but we must fulfill the days appointed for us here first. At this time, our responsibility is clear:
Seek God and His kingdom.
Grow spiritually in Him.
Multiply heaven’s citizens by winning souls.
As we live, we must work for peace, for in that peace, heaven’s kingdom increases.
IT’S THE DIVINE DESIGN
God’s plan is for heaven to grow from the earth. We are called to increase spiritually and in righteousness while still here.
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." (Matthew 6:33)
Our highest priority is to seek God’s kingdom and righteousness.
THE WAY OF GOD
To reach heaven, one must find God while on earth. Those who fail to find Him face a different destiny—a separation from Him in eternity. But this is not God’s plan for you.
Jesus made this plain:
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)
This is the way to eternal peace and joy in heaven.
THE ULTIMATE HOPE
Ask yourself:
Does your future end with life on earth?
Is your hope only for this life?
The Apostle Paul reminds us:
"If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable." (1 Corinthians 15:19)
True hope exists both in this life and the next, but only for those in Christ. The journey of seeking, finding, and obeying God is always worth it.
BELIEVE WITH ALL YOUR HEART
For those outside of Christ, the future holds no hope—only separation from God. But escaping that fate is simple:
Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Acknowledge that He died for your sins and was raised for your righteousness. Declare Him as Lord and Savior.
Then, commit to living as a citizen of heaven on earth. This decision transforms your eternal destiny.
In conclusion, our eternal future and hope are secure only in Christ. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God... but Christ in you is the hope of glory." (Romans 3:23; Colossians 1:27). It is a matter of choice. Choose Christ today and live for Him, ensuring a future filled with peace, hope, and eternal joy.
