THE SUPERNATURAL STANDBY

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counselor, Strengthener, STANDBY), to be with you forever"

                           John 14:16, AMP.

The Holy Spirit is a PERSON. And if you are in Christ He is your STANDBY from God forever.

A STANDBY is one who is competent, available, reliable and IMMEDIATELY READY to help (even in an emergency) when needed or asked to do so.

THE HOLY SPIRIT is Your Supernatural Standby!

The revelation of the Holy Spirit as your Standby is key to tapping into the other ministry streams of the Spirit.

The Holy Ghost has the ANSWER or SOLUTION in all circumstances. No trouble or emergency is beyond His POWER or COMPETENCE. The Holy Spirit is your supernatural Standby in all circumstances.  When you are at your wits end He is your Standby; when you are weak He is your Standby. When you need wisdom He is your Standby. When a need appears the answer is in Him. "What time I am afraid I will trust in the Lord" (Psalms 56:3). You don't need to feel Him. You just need to KNOW that He is in you and with you; and He is ready. Do you need to feel the generator in your house? Just be STILL and know that He is God. Engage him by faith.

1. The REVELATION of the Holy Spirit as your Standby will produce a consciousness of His PRESENCE WITH and IN you ALWAYS (John 14:16-18, 1 John 4:4, 1 Cor. 6:19-20).

2. This consciousness will in turn provoke a fellowship with His PERSON. The result will be a holy life.

3. This life style of fellowship will become a faith and confidence booster which will generate His POWER in all circumstances.

4. It will totally eliminate FEAR and the feeling of powerlessness:  loneliness, helplessness, hopelessness, or defeat.

5. You will know that you have the divine answer or solution to all circumstances; including troubles and emergencies.

6. It will change your RESPONSE to troubles, emergencies, weakness and challenges. You will respond fearlessly and purposefully by faith. You will know that you are safe. God has your back.

7. It will turn you into an asset in challenging situations or times of trouble. See the examples of David (in the Goliath challenge), King Saul (1 Samuel 11:1-7) and Samson against the Lion.

8. You will have peace and gladness that cannot be scientifically proven because you know how to tap into the STREAMS of the unseen River of God. (Psalms 46:10).

9. You will live in the Kingdom of God; which is “righteousness, peace and joy IN the Holy Ghost” (Romans 14:17). It's a kingdom that cannot be moved. The kingdom that rules over everything.

10. You will have the answer to fear, depression, distress, oppression and persecution; you have the answer to all the schemes of the enemy.

11. In Christ God has named you OVERCOMER. The Holy Spirit is the seal of that identity (1 John 4:4). Before any trouble came God supplied the answer! He is your Standby!

12. The revelation of the Holy Spirit as your Standby is the key to tapping into all the ministry Streams of the Holy Spirit. He is just waiting for your call or voice of faith! Take time to pray in the Holy Spirit to release the stream you desire.

He is not far away.

He is so near!

He is in you and with you!

He is the Spirit of liberty!

He is the Spirit of triumph!

He is the Spirit of glory!

He is available to save!

He is competent to save!

He is ready to save!

He is reliable to save!
