YOU WILL NOT BE A VICTIM OF WICKED HANDS
The death of Jesus Christ on the Cross was not an accident. It was planned by God for our good. It was ignorantly executed by WICKED HANDS.
"Him, being DELIVERED by the DETERMINATE COUNSEL and FOREKNOWLEDGE OF GOD, you have TAKEN, and by WICKED HANDS have crucified and slain" (Acts 2:23).
1. DELIVERED...means:
- Christ was GIVEN OUT to the enemy.
- Christ was GIVEN OVER to the enemy.
- God SURRENDERED Him to the enemy.
- Christ was DELIVERED UP to the power of the enemy.
2. TAKEN...means:
The enemy was able to TAKE Him only because God DELIVERED Him up to his power.
3. WICKED HANDS…
It took wicked hands to kill Christ.
HOW DOES THIS CONCERN US?
Even by the testimony of those who betrayed and sentenced Him to death, Jesus was INNOCENT and RIGHTEOUS*.
But God had PLANNED that He should die for OUR SIN and OUR GUILT. Therefore was He GIVEN UP to die in OUR PLACE by the HANDS OF WICKED MEN.
BUT HE ROSE AGAIN.
"Whom God hath RAISED UP, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it." (Acts 2:24).
Today, at the right hand of the Father in heaven, the risen Christ is the High Priest, Advocate and Intercessor for those who believe in Him.
Those who believe in Him and also understand Acts 2:23 should forever refuse to be victims of the wicked in any way by calling on the witness of His blood and in His name.
PRAYER DECLARATION
1. Father, I make the following decrees in the name of Jesus Christ and by faith in His blood.
2. Let every wicked hand stretched out against me or mine wilder now.
3. Let the wicked never be able to perform their plans against me.
4. Let the wicked plan of the enemy against me come upon their own heads.
6. Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man. (Psalms 10:15).
7. According to your word let not the rod of the wicked rest upon any of my lot; for Christ has become my righteousness. (Psalms 125:3).
8. Break the rod of the wicked and let my lot be restored seven fold to me.
9. Christ was GIVEN UP for me, therefore me and mine cannot be TAKEN by the hand of the wicked.
10. The LORD has chastened me sore: but he has not GIVEN ME OVER unto death or any evil. (Psalms 118:18).
11. Blessed be the LORD, who has not GIVEN ME as a prey to the teeth of the enemy. (Psalms 124:6).
12. Only with my eyes shall I behold and see the reward of the wicked. (Psalms 91:8)
