STAY CONNECTED TO POWER

In the use of electricity until you are connected to power you cannot have light in your house. You cannot run any of your electric appliances. 

You can ask; "Why is this house in darkness and the next house is lighted?" The invariable answer is they are not connected to power. Whether from the power company or from a generator set

The same law operates spiritually. The word salvation and Savior are connected. There can be no salvation unless there is a Saviour. Power must flow from the Saviour to those who need it for there to be salvation. 

God cannot save anyone until His power can flow to them. 

THE GOSPEL

The gospel is the good news of the availability of the power of God through Christ for the salvation of man. "Christ has brought the power of God. The salvation of man is now possible."

CONNECTION TO POWER!

We connect to the power of salvation through faith.

"For by GRACE are you SAVED THROUGH FAITH; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God" (Ephesians 2:8).

SAVED FROM SIN AND SICKNESSES.

First on the list of things to be saved from are sin, sicknesses and diseases of every kind. 

If the gospel is the solution to sin; then sin cannot be the reason why people are not saved or healed.

It is just like saying that a house is in darkness because of darkness. No the house is in darkness because it is not connected to power. Darkness is not stronger than light. The house is in darkness because the owner still prefers darkness to light.

Sin and sickness is not stronger than the power of salvation - the Gospel. People are not saved because they don't understand or believe the Gospel. Or they chose to reject the gospel.

ONE SOLUTION FOR SIN AND SICKNESS!

Our sin, sicknesses and diseases were dealt with by Christ at the same time.

"Christ his own self BARE OUR SINS in his own body on the tree (Cross), that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: BY WHOSE STRIPES YOU WERE HEALED" (1 Peter 2:24).

If we believe it we will receive the manifestation of our salvation from sin and our healing from sickness. 

KEEP THE POWER FLOWING!

What we should watch as believers is walking in condemnation for sins that God has already forgiven. Now this is very important. Condemnation or sin consciousness is an enemy of faith. It will not allow the power to flow.

We need the revelation of our righteousness in Christ and we need to quit trying to earn it. It is the just (righteous) that can live by faith. When we receive our identity of righteousness we can overcome sin.

Those who live in the condemnation of sin cannot live by faith. They cannot tap into the power of God for their salvation. Sin is not the problem. Condemnation is the problem. 

CONDEMNATION IS THE DEVIL'S SPECIALITY!

After the Cross the devil now specializes in condemnation.

He knows that condemned people will return to their sin. For that is how they see themselves. They identify with sin.

Look at how the Bible describes Satan's operation.

"And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come SALVATION, and STRENGTH [power], and the kingdom of our God, and the POWER [authority] of his CHRIST: for THE ACCUSER of our brethren is cast down, which ACCUSED THEM before our God day and night"  (Revelation 12:10).

DEAL WITH SATAN'S ACCUSATION!

Where there is no accusation there can be no condemnation. We have been given the authority of Christ to resist Satan and his accusations.

If we cannot defend our righteousness by faith in the blood of Jesus we cannot also keep our healing; because we are disconnected from the power that brought our salvation.

"And they OVERCAME him by the BLOOD of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death" (Rev. 12:11)

PRAYER!

Father I thank you for I have been made righteous by my faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. My sins are forgiven. And I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. Sin, sickness and Satan has no power over me anymore. I am free from condemnation. I am free indeed in the name of Jesus. Jesus is my Lord and Saviour. All glory be to the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
