Understanding the GREATEST LOVE

"GREATER LOVE has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John  15:13).

The Lord Himself indicated that there are levels of love. When Jesus Christ died for our sin on the Cross He manifested the greatest love.

On the love scale, so to speak, the love of God for humanity is perfect. Anyone who is in Christ has entered into the perfect and unconditional love of God. Nothing can separate them from it.

God met our greatest need by His greatest love. He saved us from sin, death and the power of Satan. How then can His love fail us now? That's the question of Paul.

"He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him ALSO freely give us all things?" (Romans  8:32).

If when God knew that we were dead and lost in sin it didn't stop Him from investing His own Son for our salvation; why should an accusation of sin by the enemy stop Him from forgiving us now that we are in Christ? Why should it stop Him from healing and giving us victory now?

The unconditional love of God is the foundation of our relationship with Him. He laid the foundation for our good. He laid it all by Himself at His own expense. That's why we have no right whatsoever to doubt or question God's love for us. It will cause us to be defeated.

But there is a way to know that we are safe in His love. If we want to continue to enjoy the unconditional love of God we must also continue to give it to others unconditionally.

"WE KNOW that we have PASSED from death unto life, because we LOVE the brethren. He that loves not his brother ABIDES in death." (1 John  3:14).

That is why forgiveness is such a big deal with God. We must love and forgive others always. The Lord has clearly said to us that we must forgive others four hundred and ninety times a day if they offend us. Implying that you can ask God for forgiveness four hundred and ninety times a day. You must be mad to be that sinful.

Be smarter than the enemy. He knows that he cannot separate you from the love of God. But he also knows that you can separate yourself from the love of God. That is the purpose of the pressure he is applying through people and your circumstances.

So please do not put on a religious glass as you read this post.

✓ Believe in the love of God.

✓ Forgive yourself.

✓ Forgive those you have perceived to have hurt you

✓ Go to God and receive forgiveness.

He is waiting for you. He will heal you. He will give you the victory. This is your day of freedom!

"For God so LOVED THE WORLD, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John  3:16).

"Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I FORGIVE HIM? till seven times?

Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN." (Matthew  18:21-22).

"WHO SHALL SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF CHRIST? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that LOVED US.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans  8:35-39).
