THE MASTER'S VICTORY RECIPE.
Hunger in the natural represents a strong desire for food. It is a driving force. What you are hungry for represents your desire. It was the most powerful way the Master chose to teach us about faith and victory. When the Master Himself was hungry He cursed a fig tree which stood against His desire for food.
He taught us to pray to God for our desire and believe that God has granted our desire. He taught us to receive our desire in the place of prayer. But once we leave the place of prayer we should continue to believe that our desire has been granted and treat everything that speaks to the contrary as an enemy to be cursed.
Believe you receive your desire. Believe that every enemy that stands against your good and godly desire cannot stand when you say so.
Jesus did not separate between the two activities of SAYING and PRAYING. He used them interchangeably.
"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall SAY unto this mountain, Be you removed, and be you cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he SAYS shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he SAYS.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire, when you PRAY, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them." (Mark 11:23-24).
Your SAYING should be a continuation of your PRAYING! When you pray believe you have received your desire and you shall have it. When you speak to the mountain believe that it will move. You will have what you say.
WHAT IS THE LESSON?
Stop seeing yourself standing before God only when you are praying. You are always standing before God even when you are with men. That will help you to choose to speak faith filled words all the time. We live by faith; we don't just pray by faith. You won't say one thing in prayer and say another thing before men. That's is called the fear of man. It leads to a snare.
Apostle Paul wrote to us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17; "Pray without ceasing." That should help you to always be in the faith mode, so to speak. Whether you separate yourself to God in your prayer closet or when you are in your daily activities; God is listening to what you are saying. Your speaking is as powerful as your praying.
Prophet Elijah understood that he was always standing before God. Hear what he told King Ahab.
"As the LORD God of Israel lives, BEFORE WHOM I STAND (not stood), there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word."
- 1 Kings 17:1.
In other words he was standing before God to speak to King Ahab.
CONCLUSION
In Mark 11:22 Jesus said, "Have faith in God." That command is for always; not for only when you are praying. You should always see yourself as communicating with God (whether praying or speaking).
